Hip Hop Maniac is an American born MC, DJ, Producer & Songwriter. He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada & Mexico performing in front of live audiences with his catchy wordplay, profound lyrics, he also won the University of Minnesota’s Hip Hop Olympics MC Battle in 1996. His claim to fame was his 1st release entitled “Whom Shall I Fear” in 1998 which ranked him among some of the best lyricists from his hometown and abroad. Hip Hop Maniac has performed at Ivy League schools as well as numerous bars, clubs, small and large venues. Hip Hop Maniac got his name/moniker from a friend of his in college who was an Iraq war veteran in late 1992 while attending Central State University. Hip Hop Maniac also was a college radio DJ in which he had a short-lived career on radio and also spearheaded a mixtape movement among some of the world’s favorite dj’s. Hip Hop Maniac has collaborated with the likes of The Ohio Players, Indigenous Tribe, Eminem, Trenched, DJ B Sqrd, Yo! Majesty among other producers in numerous genres.
